World Book Day 2023
Our school chose a 'dictionary' theme, where each class dressed as a word beginning with a specific letter.
During the day, the children listened to teachers from other classes reading to them, completed various fun activities and took part in a whole school book sale.
Children were challenged to turn a boring paper plate into a representation of their favourite book!
Winners were able to choose books from the book fair, then Year group winners were taken to the local bookshop to choose a book for themselves and a selection of books for school.
